How fast can your students download your flash video?

I've realised this week that our content videos uploaded at ymis.radio may nice to watch at work with our fast broadband, but for a slower broadband or dial-up user they are very slow.

So how can i make videos that load faster; some ideas.

• Keep videos to under 5mins, and break them into Part 1 - Part 2 etc. if they go longer.

• Use minimal text overlays

Other than that, i will need to look into it further me thinks.
